Bullington Cross Inn - Sold for metal recycling depot
27 May 2010
Bullington Cross Inn, purchased from Punch Taverns by Frobisher Investment in Spring 2009 has been sold to Bryan Hirst Ltd for a sum of £680,000, who will be developing the site as a metal recycling depot. The 1.8 acre site is ideally located at the junction of the A34 and A303 dual carriageways east of Andover and has the benefit of direct dual carriageway access from all points on the compass.
Bryan Hirst said "we are delighted to have acquired this unique site which is in a highly accessible location, whilst relatively isolated from residential areas, thus causing minimal disturbance to neighbours".
Andrew Newman of joint sales agent Hollis Hockley said "The location of this site was exceptional and we have had a wide range of enquiries for the property, ranging from kennels, low cost housing, transport and vehicle recovery depots, biker pubs and a wide and varied range of unusual entertainment and leisure uses".
