Cirrus Logistics select Chineham Park for newly acquired VoiteQ business
4 January 2010
Following an extensive investigation Cirrus Logistics settled on Basingstoke as a new base for their new acquired subsidiary, VoiteQ, and has agreed a new lease on 9A Cedarwood on the successful Chineham Park office development owned by MEPC.
VoiteQ provide electronic point of sale (EPoS) voice technology and software solutions for companies utilising warehouse fork lift operatives in picking and packing distribution facilities.
Frank Heald, the Chairman of all CentriQ Group companies stated, "Following the CentriQ Group's recent acquisition of Cirrus Logistics, the decision was made to relocate the business to larger premises to allow for future expansion of the business and to provide a Southern office for VoiteQ".
"MEPC's Chineham Park development offered us the perfect solution with high quality office accommodation on an established and successful Business Park. The park has excellent communications being a short drive from the M3 and I am confident that our staff will be happy in their new home".
Nick Olliffe of Hollis Hockley who represented MEPC said "The VoiteQ transaction has simply reiterated that the vast majority of notable office market demand along the M3 corridor is driven to acquire the better quality office space".
He adds "Chineham Park consistently benefits from this in a superior letting conversion rate in comparison with the market norm. The combination of quality, new and refurbished office space on a rolling programme together with MEPC's emphasis on providing their Tenants a total package of amenities remains a compelling offer".
"We expect the trend for occupiers to take advantage of the market conditions to trade up in quality to continue in 2010".
Hollis Hockley advised MEPC Chineham Park. Wadham & Isherwood represented Cirrus Logistics/VoiteQ.
