Now that's what I call quick!

Jeremy Nokes, partner at the Hollis Hockley Farnborough office, has just completed what he suspects is one of the quickest transactions he has ever dealt with.

Paul Hudson of Direct UK Solutions, a local property maintenance company, viewed some premises at Saddlers Court, Yateley, a small courtyard office development, at 10 am on Wednesday 21 October 2009. The office suite, of about 1,320 sq ft, is marketed at £10.00 per sq ft. Paul confirmed there and then that he would like to take the property, and submitted an offer, on the basis that he could access the property as quickly as possible. The offer was immediately phoned through to the client, and after some wrangling it was accepted.

On Thursday 22 October a Licence Agreement was prepared and by 1 pm in the afternoon this was signed by all parties, with all rents paid, and the new tenants took over the premises.

A total of 27 HOURS from viewing to completion!

Jeremy Nokes said "Bearing in mind the current climate, we have seen both vendors and tenants being far more pragmatic, and this was a perfect example, and the ultimate transaction where tenant, landlord and agent were all very pleased with the outcome for their own personal reasons, within a very short space of time."  If only all of our transactions were that quick!
