In response to continued rapid growth throughout its European operations, franchised assembling distributor PEI-Genesis advised by Hollis Hockley LLP, have acquired the remaining term of Pratt & Whitney's lease at the aero engine manufacturer's 65,000 sq ft facility, which will serve as its new European headquarters and state-of-the-art connector assembly facility. Located adjacent to Southampton Airport, the former Pratt and Whitney repair facility building is more than three times larger than the company's existing premises and will provide enough space to accommodate the expansion of the business for many years to come. Commenting on the relocation, David Jones, European General Manager for PEI-Genesis, said: "The new building will allow us to continue the company's growth by investing in new assembly lines, new automation, a significantly expanded component inventory and additional services - all of which will be aimed at meeting or hopefully exceeding the needs of our customers both now and in the future."
