Vectair Systems breeze into the Trident Centre, Basingstoke - PEI Genesis complete exit strategy
Vectair Systems, one of the UK's leading manufacturers of washrooms products and consumables and a long standing Basingstoke occupier have acquired the remaining term of PEI Genesis UK Limited lease at Unit 3, Trident Centre on the Daneshill Industrial Estate in Basingstoke. This transaction follows the recent relocation of PEI Genesis's UK headquarters from Basingstoke to larger premises in Southampton to accommodate their own planned expansion.
Unit 3 comprises a modern warehouse facility constructed in 2003/4 with fitted offices and an open mezzanine. Vectair have acquired the remaining term of a lease to expire in March 2014 at an annual passing rent of £127,250 per annum (exclusive).
Nick Olliffe of Hollis Hockley who advised PEI Genesis on the transaction commented: "The PEI Genesis directors are particularly pleased to have agreed terms with Vectair "back to back" with the acquisition of their new facility on the south coast – it's a clean exit for PEI allowing them to focus on an aggressive business plan going forward. In the meantime, Vectair will be inheriting a good quality warehouse unit from our clients in a market where supply remains relatively tight for the best quality stock."
